Apple Engraving, Inc. Terms and Conditions - Highlights
By placing an order the customer hereby agrees to all terms and conditions hereby set forth:
Apple Engraving is not responsible for items not sold in our store.  Customer is responsible for the material and objects manufactured by other companies.  The engraving process has the potential to damage those items brought in from outside vendors.  Apple Engraving cannot be held responsible for any damage to materials and objects it hasn't sold.  Risks of damage include, for example, but is not limited to: tape residue, change of finish due to cleaning the piece, scratches to the finish, dents due to holding and handling of outside vendor items that we are not used to handling. The customer is hereby aware that the piece may get permantly damaged due to our handling it and cannot hold us reponsible.  While we give our utmost efforts to protect customer pieces, we clearly are not familiar with the plating and finish of items that we do not sell but are instead manufactured by outside vendors.
Engraving art: All details pertaining to the engraving are at the discretion of the engraver, unless very specifically detailed in the engraving receipt.  This includes: the font, the size, the placement, the overall visual aspect of the engraving work.  Proofs are always approximate, the engraver has full liberty to adjust sizing, font, and placement to fit the actual piece so that the end product is best according to the engraver's judgment.
Logos:  The customer must have full copyrights to any logo the customer provided to Apple Engraving, Inc and absolves Apple Engraving Inc. from any liability in the use of the logo .  Should a dispute occur as to the rights of the logo, the customer will be held responsible for all/any compensation to the rightful owner of the said logo, including all legal fees.
Apple Engraving, Inc. will not accept any return on engraved merchandise.
Apple Engraving will not be held responsible for fine scratches and dents and similar small damages that either have occurred as part of the engraving process or that were on the item(s) at the time of dropped off and remained unnoticed until the customer came to retrieve it (them).
Deposit: customer hereby forfeits all rights to the deposit made at the time the order is placed.
Items not retrieved within 30 days (from the day the order is placed)are placed into storage by Apple Engraving, Inc at no cost to the customer.
Stored items require a 30-days advance notice to be available again.
Stored items are subject to scratches and damages that are not the responsibility of Apple Engraving Inc.
Stored items are considered abandoned 4 months from the day the order was placed, along with any deposit made at the time of purchase.
Turnaround time: Normal turnaround time is 1 to 2 weeks (up to 14 days).  Anything less than 7 days (one week) is subject to Rush Service Fees.
Time of pick up is end of day.  Any time printed on the receipt reflects a deadline we'll attempt to meet but cannot guarantee further.   Customers are advised to call prior to come to pick up to insure their item(s) is(are) ready.
Offensive items or language:
We reserve the right to refuse an order on the basis of the following principles:
Apple Engraving, Inc. is committed to protect and preserve the planet, clean air, green forests and clear waters and hereby reserves the right to refuse a contract should it entail polluting the planet.
Animal or Human products:  We will not engrave human remains, skin, bones or parts.  Same for mammals in general with the exception of treated leather. In general we refuse to engrave on animal bones and parts (even dried out) or on containers of remains (such as urns) unless they are brand new and unused.  While we engrave rocks, leather and seashells, we retain the right to refuse as of yet unexpected or strange demands.
Apple Engraving’s goal is to provide engraving and custom framing to our customers and thereby promote joy, happiness and well being among our workforce as well as our customers and society in general.
We reserve the right to refuse to frame or engrave offensive language, statements, Images or logos that aim to bully and/or threaten one individual or a group of people based on their ethnicity, political affiliation, age, gender, sexual preferences or even whimsically offensive statements that isolate one individual or an entire group of people.  
As an example of this, we will not engrave swastikas or triggering or offensive and denigrating words or sentences.

We refuse to promote violence.  Thank you for your understanding.
